• Don't forget that your product description must be between 50 - 150 words.

• Always aim to describe your product in a positive, motivational way with a warm and friendly tone.

• And, don't forget to spell check your description.

 

New features available to enhance your Get Connected listing

Destination NSW is re-developing its consumer websites – visitnsw.com and sydney.com, with the new-look sites due to go live soon.

A feature of the upgrade is enhanced listings for NSW products to better showcase your business to potential visitors.

Upload Your Own Images

You will be able to upload up to nine images of your product which will be displayed in an image gallery.

Minimum image size:
280 x 228 (landscape) and 228 x 280 (portrait).

Maximum image size:
900 x 600 (larger images will be scaled to this size)

These new features will improve the experience for visitors to the sites who prefer to see a range of images of accommodation, tours, attractions, items for hire and events before they book.

No Image – No Listing

If your listing does not include an image it will not be visible on the re-developed sites.

For the upgrade we will be enforcing this rule. If your listing currently appears with no images, it will automatically drop off when we change over to the new system.

Destination NSW urges all businesses to ensure they include at least one image in their listing. This change is in line with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) requirements.

Add Social Media Links

We have also expanded our database to include NSW operator’s Facebook and Twitter pages as well as any videos you may have on You Tube.

These enhancements will take effect in the second phase of the upgrade as it continues over the coming months. We encourage you to add those links now in preparation for them to be displayed in the future.
